The annual Hyde Park Art Show was blasted with rain on its opening day but seemed to make up for it on Sunday as a large crowd seemed ready to get out of the house and be outdoors. The second day started out very overcast, but the sun prevailed. It was also noticeable that many purchases seemed to be made helping to make the participating artists a little happier after the flooded out day before. This Old Hyde Park Village event is scheduled for the week immediately before the much larger Gasparilla Festival of the Arts that will take up much of the downtown business area.
