It was fun as SOHOTampa gave American Idol Recording Star Ryan Baysden a whirl wind tour of SOHO on Thursday. From the Carolina beach country, Ryan had been schedule to appear on Tampa Digital Studios Media Mix show, but tornadoes throughout the east coast delayed his arrival until well after the show ended. With an amended schedule, his first Tampa stop was at a reception at men's clothing and accessory store - Urban Body (located behind Starbuck's on South Howard). With Italian beer by Peroni and some new clothes in hand, Ryan moved on to 42nd Street Bistro where he was greeted by American Idol fans and more. SOHOTampa could not let it end there, so we quietly snuck him into MacDintons for a quick anonymous sing on the usual Thursday karaoke night before whisking him to the Dubliner for a final beer before the night ended.

Ryan was in town for the Tampa Bay Vodka Fest - (you can see details of that at TampaGold.com). With an album to be nationally released in early 2007, he was a guest on local tv shows and at Gaspars Grotto Friday Night Karaoke Contest in Ybor. Keep the name Ryan Baysden in mind as you watch his recording hit the streets next year.

This was Ryan's first visit to Tampa, and we bet it won't be his last
