2006 SOHOTAMPA PUB CRAWL
11 Participating locations and a perfect evening made for a wild evening of Pub Crawling. SOHOTAMPA.com has held several of these including a Wine Walkabout that have always been a lot of fun. What makes it so much fun ? Meeting new people and visiting new places. The event started at the Rack then moved west and south. Next stop was The Deck Pizza and Pub where the patio was jammed with people. Tequila shots were the featured event at Po'Boys Creole Cafe. The New Strings n Rings had gone all out with some super specials and acoustic musician. Next up was La Casa Dolce with 2 for one drinks and an out door seating area that was very popular with the Pub Crawl crowd. At the Newly renovated SOHO Oasis, Horror Film Star Krista Grotte was on hand for autographs and pictures. Most attendees had never been there before and were quite impressed. 42nd Street Bistro featured the music of the JGLB with Sticks of Fire Editor Tommy Duncan as lead singer. Lots of dancing and more ! Then it was off on the longest walk of the crawl to The Tiny Tap, where crawlers were treated to 2 for 1 Pabst Blue Ribbons. Don't Get Much Better than That ! Heading north again back to MacDintons where usual large crowd was dancing the night away with the music of The Crime. Tampagold sponsored Blue Collar Whiskey was playing on the patio at the Dubliner as everyone seemed to be talking about how the weather was perfect for being outside and perfect for the Crawl. Last Stop - Mangroves with a dj and Corazon Tequilas. I got back home about 3:30. How about you ? Ready to do this again ?
