One day a year everyone becomes Irish, St. Patrick’s Day 2008 was a perfect day to party. The weather was perfect as almost every bar had expanded their outdoors space to handle the increased crowds. Falling on Monday this year did not dampen the enthusiasm as the local Irish clubs were packed. Live music started early and ran late. The more traditional celebrants were at Four Green Fields to listen to more traditional music while the Dubliner and MacDintons featured more current tunes. This year was most memorable with a lot of reunions with big hugs and hellos. St. Patrick’s Day is always fun, but 2008 seemed to be more fun than ever.
